We're now in our 12th year of providing a summer camp experience and more for youth with heart conditions. Campers tell us that Merry Heart Children's Camp is the highlight of their summer!

Join us for a morning adventure at Tryon Creek State Natural Area! Heart Kids ages 5 - 8 are welcome, along with a parent (and a sibling if desired).

This event is FREE!

With help from the folks at Friends of Tryon Creek, campers and parents will spend the morning doing the following:

• meet other heart kids and families

• take a short, guided nature hike

• enjoy an activity in the classroom - similar to field trip activities used at the park

• have the opportunity to ask questions about our week-long camp for 9 - 14 year olds

• enjoy lunch (provided!) and the opportunity to visit with older campers, camp counselors, camp program leaders, and other heart families

Join us at a beautiful farm near McMinnville for an afternoon of music with The Resolectrics - a Portland area rock + soul power trio. Come support heart camp, make some new friends, and visit with old pals on Sunday October 5th!

1 pm - Doors Open

2 pm - Wine country favorite Satellite Blooms will perform

3 pm - The Resolectrics, the beloved Portland area power trio known for their rock + soul jams will perform

Food will be available for purchase - Cash Only! - from Mi Rancherita, makers of fine burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. Non-alcoholic refreshments will be available for a donation. Bring your own alcoholic beverages if desired - please drink responsibly. Bring a low-backed chair or a blanket.

Hey Heart Families - save the date!

On September 20th, Merry Heart Children's Camp will join forces with Tualatin Riverkeepers for a morning paddle on the Tualatin River.

We'll gather at the Cook Park boat ramp at 9 am and enjoy a picnic lunch in the park at around noon. Equipment will be provided by Tualatin Riverkeepers.

Join us for a morning of fun exploring the river and meeting other youth with heart conditions and their families.

Families with heart kids age 5 and up are invited to join us at the High Desert Museum in Bend for a morning of activities and making new friends. Siblings are welcome to join.

Parents / Guardians will have the opportunity to hang out and visit in separate space while the kids take part in an activity led by museum staff. Merry Heart staff and volunteers will also be present.

We’ll end the morning at the Raptors of the Desert Sky exhibition. Bring your lunch or visit the museum cafe - and then enjoy the rest of the afternoon visiting the museum for free!

Heart Families!

Whether you’re new to the game or an experienced pickleballer, come join us for an afternoon of fun. Instructors and experienced players will be on hand to help guide you as you learn the game that started right here in the Northwest and has become incredibly popular around the world.

The Pickleball Club at Rolling Hills Community Church has offered to host heart kids (age five and up!) and their families at their four-court facility for a Saturday afternoon of playing pickleball and connecting with other heart families. We’ll wrap up the event with a little pizza party!

Equipment will be provided by the club. Non-marking court shoes preferred!
